	OUR FOUNDER - Sosai Sosai Lambert Lloyd Plummer was born on June 22, 1956 in Kingston, Jamaica.He was educated at Kingston Senior High School and St. Andrew Technical High School in Kingston. He started as a boxer at the Guinness Gym at the National Heroes Circle while being a student at the Kingston Senior High School. After a most embarrassing experience during a training session, he made the decision to switched to Martial Arts. He became a member of the Kyokushin Karate System under the instruction of the distinguished Sensei Allan Monteith in 1969. After Sensei Monteith's migration, he continued his training under the guidance of Sensei Monkad 'Monty' Allen and Sensei Errol Lyn, who was the chief instructor of Seido Karate in Jamaica. Sosai, founded World Zendo Kai Kan Karate Organization in 1993, gained his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1978, his 2nd Degree in 1987 and his 3rd Degree in Seido Karate in 1991. At the rank of 3rd Dan, Shihan Plummer had fundamental differences with the operation of the then West Indies Seido Karate and thus decided to branch off and started a school of his own. He respectfully resigned from that organization in 1993.IN october 2007he was promoted to hanshi 8th.Dan shihan and inducted in the head founders council,(council which recognizes founders and their styles of martial arts..He was also inducted into "The World Martial Arts Of fame in may of 2007 by Hanshi o. Lane PhD M. A. soke sosai Plummer is a martial arts instructor with over thirty years experience. at the time of his resignation from the West Indies Seido Karate. Sosai went on to form Jamaica's largest local martial arts organization, World Zendo Kai Kan Karate. Her is married and has two children, Kyoshi Kimberly and Kristopher, both 5th degree black belt. INSTRUCTORS All instructors at World Zendo Kai Kan Karate are trained by Sosai Plummer or his senior instructors, Kyoshis Kimberly and Kristopher Plummer and Sensei Debbie-Ann Powell or Michael Fisher who collectively have overFifty years experience. THE ZENDO FOCUS The principal focus of the World Zendo Kai Kan Karate Organization is the discipline of its students and instructors. There is no compromise. The techniques of this karate though important are secondary. This concept is enforced through our tenets Respect, Love, Honesty and Sincerity
